Cancellation of Tredegar House Rally - 21 September 2008
We are very sorry to have to tell you that we have had to cancel this year’s rally as the ground is unfit for vehicles, following damage caused to the parkland by St Mellon’s Show in August and very wet weather.
It has been very difficult to reach the decision to cancel the show, as it is the major fund raising event for Leukaemia Research locally and we also appreciate that many exhibitors will be disappointed at missing a great day out. We are writing to all the exhibitors and traders and will return the money sent to us, when we have received new cheque books from our bank, unless we are advised to keep it as a donation to Leukaemia Research.
We do hope that everyone will be able to support us in future years and we intend to send out exhibitor entry forms for 2009 as usual around Christmas time and other application forms before Easter.
