*Join our family and help us raise funds and awareness.

Volunteering is at the heart of Leukaemia Research and started when the Eastwood family began fundraising for research in 1960 after the death of their daughter Susan.

Sadly, other families experienced similar tragedies, losing children or adults to blood cancers. Gradually more people joined our charity, which now includes individuals who have been successfully treated and want to “give something back”.

Volunteering remains key to our success today. Across the country, thousands of people raise funds and awareness for us on their own, in groups or Branches; we have a family of supporters across the UK. Medical professionals generously give their time to advise on what research we should fund and celebrities make room in busy schedules to help. All enable our work to continue.

Today, thanks to our volunteers, we are investing £millions in research into all blood cancers.

Please come and join us. You’ll make friends, have fun and most importantly help change thousands of lives for the better.
