|  |  Employees at Halifax Bank raised £4000 in just one day! Sadly their colleague died from leukaemia and her friends wanted to do something positive to help.
Their day was packed with activities at all their offices, with guess the baby competitions, quizzes and a raffle, with a major prize donated from their friends at Norwich Union and others from generous local companies. A very brave employee, Paul Turner, volunteered to have his beloved moustache shaved off for £500. Quite a sacrifice when you've had the moustache for 30 years!
Louise Spruyt, organiser of the day said, ""This was a very special day for us because of Lin. It was the first time we have managed to get everyone at all head office sites, from Aylesbury to Halifax involved and we are all thrilled to have raised so much for this fantastic cause"."
