If Santa brought you a shiny new mobile phone for Christmas are you wondering what to do with the old one? It would be crackers to throw away your old handset or leave it lying around at work or home.
Instead ring in the new year and recycle your old mobile phone at your nearest Argos store. It’s quick, easy and will help Leukaemia Research to beat blood cancers.
Leukaemia Research is Argos’ Charity of the Year and it is hoped the charity will receive £25,000 from the recycling initiative.
It doesn’t matter how old the phone is, or even if it doesn’t work any more. And recycling is good for the environment too!
Why not ask your friends, family and colleagues to recycle their old mobiles too? It’s a really convenient way to support our work.
Please remove your SIM card prior to donating the phone. Any SIM cards received by Argos will be destroyed.
Recycling will benefit Leukaemia Research until the end of June 2008.
