Leukaemia Research has launched two new Patient Information booklets at its Annual Conference this April, making a total of 25 booklets in current circulation.
The two leaflets are named Treatment Decisions and Complimentary and Alternative Therapies. Treatment Decisions is designed to give patients more information about different therapies and help them understand the benefits and disadvantages of the many treatment options available. Complimentary and Alternative Therapiesis a detailed discussion of details surrounding alternative approaches to keeping healthy during treatment for a blood cancer.
Scientific Director, Dr David Grant said: "These booklets are exciting and valuable new additions to our comprehensive series of booklets. We place great importance upon providing support and reliable information to patients, their family and friends during the treatment period."
Delegates of Leukaemia Research’s annual conference, taking place on 14 April, will be the first to see the new booklets. They are also available through Leukaemia Research’s Clinical Information Officer, Ken Campbell by calling 020 7269 9060.
