| A randomised phase III trial to determine the role of FDG-PET imaging in clinical stages Ia/IIa Hodgkin's Disease | | Trial Code: | 99811594 | | Type: | Phase III | | Status: | Open | | Link: | http://www.controlled-trials.com/mrct/trial/HODGKI... | | The aim of this trial is to determine whether patients with clinical stage IA/IIA Hodgkin’s disease who have a negative FDG-PET scan after 3 cycles of ABVD require consolidation radiotherapy to areas of previous involvement in order to delay or prevent disease progression. |

 | Non-Leukaemia Research sponsored trials |
| A Randomised Phase III Study of the Stanford V Regimen Compared with ABVD for the Treatment of Advanced Hodgkins Disease | | Type: | Phase III | | Status: | Open | | Link: | http://www.controlled-trials.com/mrct/trial/HODGKI... | | To compare in a multicentre trial Stanford V with ABVD in patients with advanced Hodgkin's disease using relapse free survival as the primary endpoint. |
| A Phase III Study of Radiotherapy or ABVD Plus Radiotherapy Versus ABVD Alone in the Treatment of Early Stage Hodgkin's Disease | | Trial Code: | 94798326 | | Type: | Phase III | | Status: | Open | | Link: | http://www.controlled-trials.com/mrct/trial/HODGKI... | | 1. To compare twelve year survival in patients with early stage Hodgkin's disease treated with chemotherapy alone versus standard treatment including radiotherapy 2. To assess freedom and progression at five years |
| BNLI : Randomised comparison of cyclical anthracycline-based Chemotherapy [PA(B1)OE] with alternating chemotherapy [CH1VPP/PAB1OE] in advanced Hodgkin's lymphoma | | Type: | Phase III | | Status: | Ongoing | | Link: | http://www.controlled-trials.com/mrct/trial/HODGKI... | | To examine new schedules for the treatment of Hodgkin's Disease |
| Randomised trial of radiotherapy v no further treatment after complete remission in nodular sclerosing Hodgkin's disease | | Type: | Phase III | | Status: | Ongoing | | Link: | http://www.controlled-trials.com/mrct/trial/HODGKI... | | question To establish whether low dose radiotherapy improves remission duration in patients with nodular sclerosing histology in Hodgkin's disease and when the bulky disease at presentation represents most of the disease (stage 11 or 111), as found in sub-group analysis in American study (1994) |
| Minimal Initial Therapy for early supradiagphragmatic Hodgkin’s Disease: A multi-centre randomised trial of short neo-adjuvant chemotherapy plus involved field radiotherapy versus mantle radiotherapy (UKLG LY07). | | Type: | Phase III | | Status: | Ongoing | | Link: | http://www.controlled-trials.com/mrct/trial/HODGKI... | | Does neoadjuvant chemotherapy confer improved long-term survival in patients with early supradiaphragmatic Hodgkin's disease? |
| Randomised trial in newly diagnosed Hodgkin's disease: evaluation of drug scheduling (alternating LOPP/EVAP versus LOPP/EVA hybrid) and consolidation radiotherapy | | Trial Code: | 97767916 | | Type: | Phase III | | Status: | Ongoing | | Link: | http://www.controlled-trials.com/isrctn/trial/HODG... | Patients are randomised to either: 1. Regimen A: Chemotherapy, chlorambucil vincristine, procarbazine and prednisolone (LOPP) alternating every 28 days with etoposide, vinblastine, adriamycin and prednisolone (EVAP). A course of chemotherapy is given every 28 days for a minimum of six cycles. 2. Regimen B: Chemotherapy, chlorambucil, vincristine, procarbazine and prednisolone, etoposide, vinblastine, adriamycin (LOPP/EVA) repeated every 28 days for a minimum of six cycles. |
| Radiotherapy for pathological stage Ia and IIa (Upper) Hodgkin's disease | | Trial Code: | 98387311 | | Type: | Non-randomised | | Status: | Open | | Link: | http://www.controlled-trials.com/isrctn/trial/HODG... | This is a non randomised study, patients are grouped according to site and stage of disease: 1. Group A: Patients with pathological stage Ia (neck), IIa (neck) and Ia (axilla) are assigned to local field radiotherapy. Patients with neck disease receive 30 Gy midline in sixteen fractions over 3 weeks followed by an additional 5 Gy to the site of palpable disease. Patients with axillary disease receive 35 Gy midline in sixteen fractions over 3 weeks. 2. Group B: Patients with pathological stage Ia (supraclavicular), IIa (all sites except neck) are assigned to mantle radiotherapy. Patients receive a dose of 35 Gy mid line in twenty fractions over 4 weeks followed by an additional 6 Gy to the anterior mediastinum. |
