|  | |  |   |  | Saturday 21-Friday 23 June 2007 Advanced Haematology Nursing 16th Annual International Conference A 3-day course aims to provide a review of a wide variety of topics in haematology nursing including an update on the most recent developments. It provides an ideal opportunity for nurses of all grades in both adult and paediatric haematology to meet with other nurses within the speciality and participate in workshops, plenary sessions, discussions with patients and other professionals. Sessions will include myeloma, aplastic anaemia, haemophilia, haemopoiesis, blood transfusion safety, symptom control, fatigue, sexuality and NICE guidelines. Thursday 10 May 2007 North West Haematology Nurses Group A wide programme covering treatment and nurse management issues in haematology. Includes presentations about specialist needs of adolescents and young adults by Sam Smith from the Young Oncology Unit at the Christie Hospital; the use of MabCampath in chronic lymphoblastic leukaemia by Emma Buckby, haematology research nurse at the Leicester Royal Infirmary; and the role of physiotherapy in haematology.
