|  |  |  | Get your Christmas celebrations off to a star-studded start at the TV Times Christmas Carols with the Stars event on 8 December 2008 at the Royal Albert Hall. This is a chance to hear celebrities from much-loved TV shows including The Bill, Coronation Street and Emmerdale sing in aid of Leukaemia Research, the UK's leading blood cancer charity.
This concert offers a unique chance to see and hear actors from your favourite TV dramas sing, dance and help get festivities off to a sparkling start at this annual Christmas celebration. |
Broadcaster and international conductor Frank Renton will host this star-studded event and lead Frank Renton’s Concert Brass with the South Hampstead High School Choir and popular London gospel choir Ob-sessions.
Cathy Gilman, Chief Executive at Leukaemia Research, says: “We are so lucky to have so many well-known stars who take time out to support our TV Times Christmas Carols with the Stars event. This glamorous evening with TV stars will help us raise much-needed money to help us beat blood cancers.”
Organised by Leukaemia Research and sponsored by TV Times, Christmas Carols with the Stars is on 8 December 2008, 7.30pm at the Royal Albert Hall.
