| | | | | | Vines of Guildford in Surrey asked all BMW customers (from anywhere in the country) to join them on the ten-day Vines Viking Experience in May this year for what promised to be a larger than life charity riding experience.
Vines Motorcycle Director Duncan Bell explained: "Vines is no stranger to charity runs having provided marshals' bikes since 1997 to support fundraising events such as the Woking Leukaemia Bikeathon and, more recently, last year's John O'Groats to Lands End via Dublin ride. Not enough riders participate in the charity side of riding".
Adventurous indeed. On 26 May all participating riders departed Dover, en route to Calais, before riding through Germany, Denmark and Norway. The group then headed back to the UK via picturesque Scotland and the Lake District.
The event has already managed to raise an amazing £4,835.00 and with the money still coming in thick and fast this has been a fantastic fundraising adventure. |
