| | | | Christie’s chose Leukaemia Research as its chosen charity for 2005 and due to the enormous success extended the partnership to the end of 2006 and raised a fantastic £26,000.
Hiking Ben Nevis to tennis tournaments, pub quizzes to foreign coin collections and book swaps – Christie’s staff have gone to great lengths to offer support. The Scottish contingents, led by Julia Monelle, organised a fantastic Burns Night Supper in the Great Room last January– complete with band, traditional food and Scottish dancing! The more creative entered their own artwork in two staff exhibitions and this year ended with the charity committee running a Santa's grotto during their Christmas party!
‘We are extremely grateful for the fantastic support Christie’s staff have given us over the last 18 months and special acknowledgements to Nick Finch and Julia Monelle. The money that has been raised is helping our fight against all blood cancers for every age group, and your support really does make a difference.’ Cathy Gilman, Chief Executive Leukaemia Research.
