Get your Christmas celebrations off to a star-studded start at the TV Times Christmas Carols with the Stars event on 29 November 2007 at the Royal Albert Hall. This is a chance to hear celebrities from much-loved TV shows including The Bill, Coronation Street and Emmerdale sing in aid of Leukaemia Research, the UK's leading blood cancer charity.
Last remaining tickets have now been released for this concert, which offers a unique chance to hear Heather Peace from The Chase and David Lonsdale (Dopey David in Heartbeat) sing with gospel choir Ob-Sessions. The world famous Calendar Girls have a song and dance surprise in store.
Coronation Street’s Vicky Binns (Molly) and Graeme Hawley (love cheat John) alongside stars from other favourite TV programmes such as Holby Blue, The Bill and Emmerdale, will present and perform at this annual Christmas celebration.
Broadcaster and international conductor Frank Renton will host this star-studded event and lead Frank Renton’s Concert Brass with the Sydenham High School Choir and Caterham High School Choir.
