The BBC recently completed a feature programme about the history of Leukaemia Research - from its roots in the Eastwood family from Middlesbrough who started raising money in 1960, following the death of their 6-year-old daughter Susan, to becoming a national cancer charity.

During the programme, Chairman of Fundraising, Alastair Campbell interviews Chief Executive Cathy Gilman about the history and future of the charity. Alastair has also written an article related to the programme that is available to read on the Daily Mirror website here.
