Granny Barb and Art's Leukemia Links - CML - GrannyBarb and Art are two leukaemia patients (one could never describe them as passive sufferers) who together have created and maintain a superb leukaemia information resource.
Sadly, Barbara Lackritz (GrannyBarb) died in June 2003. She was a wonderful inspiration to patients everywhere and an indefatigible campaigner. Despite having an exceptionally aggressive form of the disease, she lived her life to the full for 15 years after her diagnosis. She will be missed deeply by all who had the privilege to meet her, and by many others who knew her only through the web.

The Glivec International Site - This site offers useful information on Glivec (imatinib) and on CML but, as it is provided by the makers of Glivec, it is unlikely to be objective about the merits of alternative treatments.

Although the site is published by CML sufferers in the UK and Europe, everyone is welcome to the site and to join in discussions in our DISCUSS area. The discussion area is not censored, and the information posted is purely the opinion of the writer.
