Banana Army Runners' Stories

Banana Army corporate running team

Thousands of people find that taking part in one of our sporting challenges is a very positive way to help Leukaemia Research save and improve lives.

Many take part to honour the memory of a family member or friend, some because they have survived a cancer themselves and want to give something back, others because they see the vital work Leukaemia Research does and want to fundraise for us.

John Applebee, 42, was diagnosed with leukaemia in 1988. Since then he has run numerous gruelling courses in aid of Leukaemia Research.
Find out more about John and his story here.

Tell us why you’re taking part....
