Fundraising in your Community

Fundraisers selling some unwanted toys

Getting your community involved is a great way of increasing awareness of your fundraising; the event your doing and more importantly the charity for which you are doing it for. Please see below a few examples to get you started:

-Night in with friends: Invite your friends to dinner and ask them to donate what they would have spent on a meal out.

-Auction/Raffle: Ask people to donate a skill/their time and then hold a raffle or auction.

-Pub: Themed evening (Quiz, Karaoke etc) Raffles.

-Gym: Ask people to donate their locker money. Sponsored cycle in gym which can be part of your training.

-Collecting: Seek permission from shops and either collect outside or whilst bag packing.

-School: Non - uniform day at £1 per pupil. Offer to talk in school and raise awareness.
