Online fundraising
Your own online fundraising page will make raising money so much easier. It's free, quick and easy to create your page and then you can send it to family, friends and colleagues.
You can set up your own fundraising web page through the Justgiving website. An extra 28p for every pound given is automatically added to your online account when donations are Gift Aided (UK taxpayers only). Funds come to us immediately and can be put to good use straight away!
Go to www.justgiving.com. Click on ‘Create your page’. Select your event and follow the instructions.In a few minutes you can create your page and send it to your friends.
Easy – no cash or cheques to chase.Safe – money sent securely to us.Fun – use your imagination to inspire donations.Tip – Make sure the first person who sponsors you donates generously. Hopefully the others will see this and follow suit accordingly.
Tip – Personalise your page to catch your friends’ attention and so they know why you are taking part.
Tip – Don’t forget to include a link to your web page in your email signature.
