Pupils at Bolton School Boys’ Division swapped their traditional school uniform for jeans and trainers - and paid £1 each for the privilege. This wasn’t the latest ruse for funding the education system but a terrific fundraising idea for Leukaemia Research.
The boys were inspired to donate the proceeds of the day’s activities to charity following a lecture by Tony Caldwell. Tony has undertaken numerous fundraising projects over the years for Leukaemia Research, recently completing a trek in the Himalayas.
