Celebrity singing star Mark Furze has raised thousands of pounds for vital research, after progressing to the semi-final of ITV1’s celebrity talent contest ‘Soapstar Superstar’.
‘Home and Away’ actor Mark impressed the judges and public with some standout performances on the show before he was finally voted out on Friday 12 January.
Leukaemia Research Director of Fundraising Kate White thanked Mark for his efforts: “Everyone here at Leukaemia Research has followed Mark’s progress in the competition every step of the way, and we are delighted that Mark managed to hit the high notes throughout.
“We are really proud of his efforts, and Mark can be sure that the money raised will be crucial towards helping the thousands of people living with blood cancers.”
